Kia_Hellman Headshot

Kia Hellman has been teaching students since she was in college.  She has worked with students of all levels whose ages range from 5 to 63, teaching actors, writers, directors, artists, lawyers, accountants and everything in between.

She started acting in theatre at the age of three, and has since performed in, written and directed a myriad of theatre, film and tv.  To view her resume and reel, please visit Kia-Hellman.com.

Ms. Hellman graduated from UCLA's School of Theater, Film & TV, and has studied the techniques of all of the greats - Constantin Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, F.M. Alexander - and then some.  Her education, life experience and compassion inform her approach to teaching, which unifies practicality with spirituality and is extremely simple and effective.

Ms. Hellman is blessed with the ability to truly listen, as well as the ability to create and hold a safe open space in which all students have the comfort and freedom to thrive and blossom - transforming and creating the joyous, successful, conscious lives they desire.

Teaching is a great joy for her, and it is through this process that she continues to discover her own character and create her own story.  Her students are her teachers.  And she is extremely grateful to them.
